Day 1 – Arrival & Transfer to Munnar

Arrival at Kochi (Airport/Railway Station)
Distance: 130 km | Travel Time: 4–5 hours

Upon arrival, proceed on a scenic drive to Munnar, a charming hill station known for its misty landscapes and endless tea plantations. En route, visit the picturesque Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Valara Waterfalls, along with Karadipara Viewpoint offering stunning valley views.

On arrival, check in to your hotel. Later, enjoy a relaxing walk at Blossom Park and visit Pothenmedu Viewpoint. In the evening, explore Munnar town and shop for fresh tea and local produce. Overnight stay in Munnar.


Day 2 – Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring the beauty of Munnar. Visit Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Lake, where you can opt for boating. Continue to Echo Point and Top Station for breathtaking views of the Western Ghats.

Later, visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the rare Nilgiri Tahr. In the evening, stroll through tea plantations and learn about tea processing. The serene atmosphere and cool climate make Munnar a perfect retreat. Overnight stay in Munnar.


Day 3 – Munnar to Thekkady

Distance: 110 km | Travel Time: 3–4 hours

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady, a haven for wildlife and spice plantations. The scenic route passes through cardamom and spice estates.

On arrival, check into your hotel. Later, explore spice plantations or opt for activities such as elephant safari, Ayurvedic massage, or a boat ride at Periyar Lake inside Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. You may also enjoy a Kathakali performance. Visit local markets famous for high-quality spices. Overnight stay in Thekkady.


Day 4 – Thekkady to Kumarakom

Distance: 125 km | Travel Time: 4 hours

After breakfast, proceed to Kumarakom, a peaceful backwater destination along Vembanad Lake. The drive offers scenic views of plantations and countryside.

Upon arrival, check in to your resort. Visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, known for its migratory birds. Spend the rest of the day relaxing by the backwaters or opt for a boat ride. Enjoy the tranquil surroundings before retiring for the night.


Day 5 – Kumarakom to Alleppey (Houseboat Experience)

Distance: 35 km | Travel Time: 1 hour

After breakfast, drive to Alappuzha (Alleppey), often called the “Venice of the East.” By noon, board a traditional houseboat for an unforgettable backwater cruise.

Sail through serene canals, lagoons, and villages while enjoying freshly prepared Kerala cuisine. You may also visit attractions like Ambalappuzha Temple, Champakulam Church, and Pathiramanal Island (subject to time). Relax and soak in the scenic beauty of coconut groves and paddy fields. Enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner onboard. Overnight stay in houseboat.


Day 6 – Alleppey to Kochi & Departure

Distance: 85 km | Travel Time: 2–2.5 hours

After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and drive to Kochi for departure. If time permits, explore attractions like Fort Kochi, the Chinese Fishing Nets, and local markets for shopping.

Proceed to the airport/railway station for your onward journey, carrying beautiful memories of Kerala.
