Day 1 – Arrival & Transfer to Wayanad

Route: Kannur / Kozhikode → Wayanad
Distance: 130 km | Travel Time: 3.5–4 hours

Upon arrival, you will be warmly received and driven to Wayanad, a tranquil hill destination known for its lush greenery, waterfalls, and tribal heritage. The scenic drive through the Western Ghats offers glimpses of dense forests and winding roads.

After check-in, visit En Ooru Tribal Heritage Village to experience indigenous culture and traditions. Later, explore Pookode Lake, a beautiful freshwater lake surrounded by forests. If time permits, visit Soochipara or Kanthanpara waterfalls. Overnight stay in Wayanad.

Day 2 – Wayanad Exploration & Wildlife Safari

After breakfast, proceed to Edakkal Caves, located at an altitude of 1000 meters. A short trek leads to these ancient caves known for prehistoric carvings.

In the afternoon, visit Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary for an optional jeep safari (direct payment). The sanctuary is home to elephants, deer, gaur, and various bird species. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Wayanad.

Day 3 – Wayanad to Kannur

Distance: 130 km | Travel Time: 3.5–4 hours

After breakfast, check out and drive to Kannur, a coastal town rich in history and culture.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Later, visit the Lighthouse Museum and enjoy panoramic views. Continue to St. Angelo Fort, a historic Portuguese fort, followed by a relaxing evening at Payyambalam Beach. Overnight stay in Kannur.

Day 4 – Kannur to Nileshwar / Bekal

Distance: 80 km | Travel Time: 2–2.5 hours

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Nileshwar / Bekal.

En route, visit the Kerala Folklore Academy, offering insights into Kerala’s traditional art forms like Theyyam. Later, visit Parassinikkadavu Muthappan Temple, known for its unique rituals and spiritual significance.

Upon arrival, check in to your resort and relax amidst peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay in Nileshwar/Bekal.

Day 5 – Bekal & Backwater Experience

After breakfast, visit Bekal Fort, the largest fort in Kerala, offering breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea.

Continue to Nityananda Ashram, a serene spiritual retreat known for its cave structures and peaceful ambiance.

Day 6 – Departure

Distance: 80 km | Travel Time: 2–2.5 hours
